NZQA Fees – Due 1 July
April 12, 2016
NZQA fees have now been added to student’s accounts. Please ensure these are paid by the 1st of July 2016.
For those who may have a student doing NCEA for the first time, this $76.70 fee must be paid every year to NZQA (via the school if you are paying by, or before, the due date).
Parents/caregivers who have an automatic payment will have their payments applied to the NZQA fees before most other fees listed. If you still have outstanding fees from previous years, you may need to make an extra payment to cover the NZQA fee. Those with credit and/or automatic payments, may have already paid this fee, you can check the Parent Portal if in any doubt.
If you are on a benefit or have a community services card, there is a discount on these fees, a single student would be $20 or $30 per family if you have more than one than one NCEA candidate in your household. This form must be filled in EVERY YEAR, so if you filled one in for the 2015 year, you must still fill one in for 2016.
The Financial Assistance Form can also be used for families who have two or more candidates in one family and would be paying more than $200 in NZQA fees. In these cases the form is used to cap total fees due at $200.
You must fill in and sign the NZQA Financial Assistance Form in order to receive this, including your benefit number or community services card number. You can get a form from the school office or print one through the link below.
