Prize Giving 2017

December 11, 2017

It is tradition that all of Year 13 cross the stage at the final THS Senior prize giving along with students in Years 9 to 12 who are receiving prizes. The prize giving is taking place in the Municipal Theatre in Napier, Tuesday 12th Dec,from 6.30pm, this week.

If you have already had an email invitation, it means that your son or daughter is receiving a prize.

Year 13 students who are not receiving a prize are also invited to cross the stage one final time at Prize Giving.

They need to attend a rehearsal between 11am and 1pm Tuesday 12 December.

A bus will be departing from school at 10.45am and returning at the end of the rehearsal, about 2pm.

Senior students may choose to travel on the bus provided or to make their own way to and from the theatre.

Things to note please:

1) All parents are welcome to attend.

2) Students need to be in immaculate winter uniform on the night but senior students who are not currently at school don’t need to wear uniform to the rehearsal.

3) Boys need to be clean shaven.

4) If due to work commitments, a student can’t make the rehearsal but wants to attend the Prize Giving, they MUST contact Mr King on and let him know (senior students only).

5) Students who don’t attend the rehearsal and don’t let Mr King know, are welcome to attend but should not expect to cross the stage.

6) Students make their own way to the actual prize giving and should arrive no later than 6.30pm

7) We ask that family and friends are seated by 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
