All our different communication channels

SchoolBridge App

The SchoolBridge app is used to send notifications and reminders to parents. It is also how you will:

  • Notify us of a student absence (sickness, bereavement); request an Exit Pass (if your student needs to leave school during the day for a medical appointment, etc)
  • Book Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences
  • Give permission, and pay, for trips via the Permission Slips function.
  • View information, schedules and more via the Resources section.
  • Read daily notices.
  • View the school calendar.
  • Directly access the KAMAR Portal (without logging into the Portal) via the SchoolBridge Dashboard - School Reports, NCEA Summary, Change of Student Details, etc.

If you go directly to the SchoolBridge app, you will only have to click on the relevant Dashboard button (e.g., Student Reports; Timetable and Attendance; NCEA Summary, etc.) to access the KAMAR Portal.

Weekly Upcoming Events Email

Each week we send out an Upcoming Events email for the week ahead. This is usually sent out on Thursday afternoon for the next week. 

Please make sure you read through this as it will tell you what is coming up this week and also any calendar dates for the weeks ahead. In some instances, this email is the only place where we will give information about specific events. Future events are often flagged in this email as well.

For instance, we will not send home individual emails about casual clothing days, it will be indicated in the Upcoming Events email in the week or two leading up to it and we will also add it to social media.

Social Media

We share what our ākonga (students) are doing via social media. We also share information about upcoming activities/events such as Casual Clothing Days, exams etc via social media, although our main communication channels for these events and reminders are the SchoolBridge App and our Upcoming Events email.

KAMAR Portal

The KAMAR Portal URL is:

However, please note that if you go straight to the KAMAR Portal, you will need to login with your Portal username and password or click on Sign in with SchoolBridge (or click the "Link to SchoolBridge" which will take you directly to the SchoolBridge Dashboard and you can click on any of the Portal buttons on the Dashboard and it will take you to the Portal and log you in automatically.

If you go directly to the SchoolBridge app, you will only have to click on the relevant Dashboard button "school.kiwi".
