PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Mr David Oliver, Principal

From the Principal

At Taradale High School we support each student to reach their individual potential and to prepare them for a successful future in a continually changing world.

Students and teachers work alongside each other to achieve their goals. This co-educational collaboration is a strong factor in explaining why we continue to outperform national averages.

Respect underpins our expectations for all relationships here. We also actively promote the values of personal integrity, intellectual curiosity, and excellence of effort.

When students are asked what they appreciate about our school, they refer to the positive relationships they have with teachers and with each other. Young people need a safe physical and emotional environment in which to develop and learn.

Our pastoral care systems ensure that strong and supportive relationships develop between students and staff, whilst developing positive behaviours and attitudes.

Our school promotes sport and culture, and we encourage all our students to participate in extracurricular activities.

Taradale High School offers all students the opportunity to gain an excellent education in a co-educational setting.

Piki ake. Kia maia. Be determined. Aim High.
