Dance

Dance at Taradale High School is a popular extra-curricular option.

Teams compete annually in the Dance NZ Made regional competition.

THS have been very successful and achieved the following:

• Teams qualifying for nationals every year since 2013.
• Regional champions in age group categories since 2013
• Overall champions for 2017
• Nationally placed as high as 3rd in age group categories.

All choreography, music and costumes are student lead, and overseen by the teacher in charge of dance. In term 1 senior dance students run casual classes for interested students. Dance Teams are then selected from this group to compete.
